Finally after months of talking about it, my dear friend and fellow photographer Iasha & I got together with our kids to get some updated photos for ourselves. I can’t wait to see the photos she took of my son and I!! Here are some of my favorites.

Earlier today, yes.. Today! I met up quick with my dear friend and her beautiful family. I am off on vacation tomorrow to Vegas for a conference on relaxationkinda.. I said I probably wouldn’t get to her images until I got back, but I had to take a peek and decided I couldn’t make her wait so here are a few from today. I hope there is still some colour around when I get back.

Last weekend, I drove out to Lac La Biche, AB to photograph this great family for the third time. I first met them when their daughter was about 9 months old. Now with two boys in the mix, this wonderful family is busy! Being a city girl, I have to say that Lac La Biche has some amazing family areas. Here is a peek at our perfect day, what was the last day of summer it seems.

On August 22, this little girl came into the world. She is my son’s niece. Her mommy is my son’s older sister, and her daddy is my son’s brother in law. FINALLY!, the brother he’s always wanted. She is family to us and I love her to bits. She is adorable and she knows it. She is quite fond of sticking her tongue out as you can see, and it’s adorable! Let’s just hope she grows out of it lol. Here’s a few of Gwen for now.

31 years. That is how long I’ve known Dawn. We met in grade 2, at Lynnwood school. She sat across the room from me and I felt sorry for her cause she had the smallest desk in the class. During recess one day I said ” Wanna go swing ?” Obviously her reply was yes and we became best friends instantly. Being an only child myself, she became my kinda-sorta-sister. If I was ever in trouble and grounded, she was the one friend I was allowed to play with cause she never did anything wrong (little did they know hee hee) We have had periods where we barely spoke, she moved away and got busy with her life as did I. One thing for sure though, no matter how long we were apart or didn’t speak, we could always pick up the phone and it was though no time had passed. After being in the same city finally for a few years we FINALLY made plans to get together. After some tough moments in both our lives earlier this year, we re-connected and I’m so glad we did. She’s married, has 2 dogs and 2 cats and with my camera in hand, we met up.
