A Cool Wedding | Edmonton photographer

On Thanksgiving weekend, I had the opportunity to again work with Andrea to assist with a beautiful wedding. The wedding was beautiful, the weather not so much.. Although the overcast skies were welcome, the cold and snow made for a very chilly bridal party. Andrea is so great, and has so many creative idea’s, I just try to stay out of the way and shoot from my point of view.  Here are a few images I liked most.

What a colourful world | Edmonton childrens photographer

Last week, I got together with fellow photographer and friend Brandi and her beautiful daughter A. She knew of a spot I haven’t been too and it was perfect! If you have followed my work through my blog, you may have noticed I tend to favor images that are softer in colour, maybe vintage, retro or b&w. I usually find myself going that way with most photos as I process them. Lately though, I’ve made a vow to work more on colour and try to find a way to make colours more vivid, almost surreal and I’ve played and tweaked, and I think I’ve become a fan of vivid colour on certain images and these are them! Take a peak at miss A! She is truly, the most photogenic little girl I’ve ever met!

Three very cool kids | Edmonton Children’s Photographer

I am sooo happy that winter is finally behind us! What a rotten tease spring was and now it’s nothing but smooth sailing.. for a couple months anyway. A few days ago I received an email from Carrie who’s children I photographed years ago asking for some updated photos before they move out of province. I was so excited to see these kids again cause they have such great personalities and are a delight to photograph. We met downtown and wandered around stopping here and there just being totally casual and fun. These are a few from our day.

It was soo nice to see you all again! Thank you for the great time and I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks.

Out with the old, and in with the new

I realize that I haven’t kept up with posting sneak peek’s for the last month or so, so I must apologize. As December draws to an end, I will find some time to post some more favorites from the last few months.

I wanted to take a moment to thank EVERYONE who I have photographed this year for a wonderful year! It has been a great year full of wonderful faces and memories. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I do and I thank you all for being part of it. I look forward to seeing everyone in the future and all the new and exciting things that will make up 2009
